PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of correction gas by enabling short-time correction while keeping correction accuracy, by estimating the arrival point of a final indication value after the change of indication from data at the predetermined point of time after correction gas was introduced. CONSTITUTION:The gas to be measured from a sampling part and the correction gas in a bomb 2 are introduced into an analyser while changed over by a solenoid valve 3. CPU7 issues a change-over signal when timing of 'correction' arrives during 'measurement' and imparts the correction gas of the bomb 2 to a gas detection part 5 through the solenoid valve 3. At this gas introduction time, the rising time of the indication output of the detection part 5 is detected by a rising detection means and the difference values DELTAx1, DELTAx2 of said rising time and the rising points of the output of the detection part 5 at two points of time T1, T2 after a predetermined time was elapsed from said rising time are stored in memory 8. These difference values DELTAx1, DELTAx2 are substituted for a primary delay response calculation formula x=X(1-e<-t/>T) [wherein T is time constant, (t) is time, X is a final value and (x) is an indication value] to stepping input and the final value X is calculated by a final value operation means and automatic correction is performed by using this final value as correction gas concn. |
