PURPOSE:To attain ease of automation of the manufacturing process and to obtain a crystal resonator with less performance variance by holding the crystal resonator to a holder formed in a way that the 2nd holding member having a closed loop is enclosed by the 1st holding member of channel shape made of a metallic plate on a plane. CONSTITUTION:The holder is formed by press processing or etching processing of a metallic plate and the 1st holding member 21 of channel shape encloses the 2nd holding member 22 having a closed loop. The crystal element 33 is placed on the holder, a conductive adhesives 34 is applied and cured by heating to hold mechanically the element 33, the exciting electrode 35 at the front side is connected to the holding member 31 and the exciting electrode at the rear side is connected to the holding member 32 electrically respectively. Then, the holders 43, 44 are clipped at the edge 42 of a case 41 made of glass or ceramic, bonded by a low melting point glass to form the crystal resonator sealed air-tightly. |
