PURPOSE:To settle accounts with a cashless method at the time of selling and to deal with a user efficiently by using his own card by each user and controlling the payment of a cash through a card reader, payment device, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a user inserts his own card 8 into a card reader 3, first a user's inherent code is read; next, a clerk keys in the amount of respective purchased goods to a cash resister 11 and a host computer 4 are connected through a communicating line 5, a total purchase amount is deducted from a user account designated by a user code, and the contents of the computer 4 are updated. Thus, each user inputs his own card 8 through a card reader 3, etc., to a payment device 6 of the computer 4, the input of the cash is controlled, and therefore, the accounts settling can be executed with the cashless method at the time of selling. Thus, the user can be dealt with efficiently. |
