Process for obtaining marketable mineral fertilisers

In the cleaning of flue gas, ammonium sulphate and ammonium nitrate are obtained in the form of a mixture. Since the molar ratio of this mixture of ammonium sulphate and ammonium nitrate varies considerably as a function of the fuels used in the combustion and the combustion parameters, it cannot be used and marketed as a mineral fertiliser without further treatment. Obtaining mineral fertilisers from these substances obtained during combustion processes in the waste gas is therefore relatively difficult and complicated. This object, however, is achieved according to the invention in a simple manner by separating the two components of the mixture by means of ammonia.
