Disc for conifers for preventing the invasion of grass. Tree cultures (for example Christmas trees) require continuous care to avoid the invasion of grass. This involves running costs and, frequently, sprays for keeping the invasion of grass at bay which are harmful to the environment. This is prevented by the disc according to the invention. The disc consists of plastic, has a diameter of approx. 300 to 600 mm, depending on the size of the tree, and is pushed over the stem and held in place on the soil by nails. This means that invasion of grass is no longer possible in the disc area. The disc saves a large amount of labour and sprays which are harmful to the environment.
