PURPOSE:To make it possible to rapidly perform measurement while preventing the leakage of a matching solution, by providing an isolation film to the contact surface of the matching solution and a specimen (preform). CONSTITUTION:A refractive index matching solution cell container 6 having a window 4 for guiding light 10 from a light source to a preform 1 to be measured has a thin isolation film 3 comprising a transparent stretchable polymer or rubber film for isolating the matching solution 2 and the preform 1. The holding, fixing and opening of the preform 1 performed with the isolation film 3 between is performed by the internal pressure control pump 7 driven by a solenoid 8. When the isolation film 3 is closely contacted with the preform 1 so as not to form the gap therebetween, the thickness of the isolation film 3 exerts no effect on the measurement of the refractive index of the preform 1. By this method, because the liquid is perfectly and hermetically sealed, the loss and contamination of the liquid can be well prevented. |
