PURPOSE:To attain efficient data transfer by providing two memory banks storing respectively data of a data section and identification label section and an address arithmetic means operating both addresses to calculate easily a memory address. CONSTITUTION:Data sections 0, 1, 2... transferred to a memory bank 50a are expanded and stored sequentially consecutively to a prescribed address. Further, identification labels ID sections 0, 1, 2... corresponding to Data sections 0, 1, 2... are expanded and stored to the prescribed address of a memory bank 50b consecutively sequentially. A selection circuit 53 switches both the memories, and in the address operation for data expansion to both the memory banks, the block range for data write/read by a define extent command DX from a controller is set to a register 51. Then a locate command LC sets how many blocks data write/read is attained consecutively to the register 52 and a write/ read command executes the processing.
