PURPOSE:To prevent a slip and deviation during the conveyance of a beltlike photosensitive body and to arrange a developing device, etc., with high precision by boring holes at the side end part of an electrostatic image carrier at equal intervals and providing a roller having a sprocket which engages those holes. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic image carrier 11 of the photosensitive body unit is conveyed while circulated only by friction against the peripheral surface of a driving roller 14 according to the rotation of the driving roller 13. A no- image area at a side end of the carrier 11 is provided with plural hole parts 11a at equal intervals and the axial end part of a driven roller 13 is provided with the sprocket 13a which engages the hole parts 11a to prevent the belt from slipping and deviating. Consequently, no excessive force operates on the holes 11a of the carrier 11 and the holes 11a neither deform nor break. Further, the developing device 25 is arranged at the high precision.
