The invention relates to an apparatus on an angle grinding machine for chamfering or deburring edges on workpieces. It consists in that the apparatus has a rail (36) with a longitudinally running hollow angled profile (37) for receiving that edge of the workpiece to be machined, and in that the rail (36) runs obliquely with respect to the plane of the abrasive wheel (4) and has a portion (46) in which that surface (44) of the rail (36) directed away from the hollow angle and towards the abrasive wheel (4) is machined to such an extent that a gap is produced between the legs of the angled profile in the region of the hollow edge, through which gap the edge of the workpiece, arranged in the angled profile, comes into contact with the abrasive wheel (4). <IMAGE>
