PURPOSE:To enable both scroll to be high accurately assembled, by combining together the both scrolls after performing a position correction of a turning center of the turning scroll and the fixed scroll and a rotation correction holding a relative rotary position between the both scrolls to the optimum condition. CONSTITUTION:An assembly device measures the coordinates of a tooth surface of a turning scroll 100 by the first detection head 4 while the coordinates of a tooth surface of a fixed scroll 200 by the second detection head 5. An arithmetic device 6 calculates a relative position deflection between the both scrolls on the basis of measured data from the detection heads 4, 5. A control device 7 controls, on the basis of an instruction from the arithmetic device 6, action in a longitudinal and a lateral direction and rotary action of a position correction table 2, arranged in the upper of a turning table 1 and enabling the fixed scroll 200 to rotate in an opposite direction to the turning direction, so as to align the center of the scroll 200 to a turning center of the scroll 100 further hold a relative rotary position of the both scrolls to the optimum condition. By the above constitution, the assembly device enables the both scrolls to be high accurately assembled.
