PURPOSE:To prevent the break of wiring at a head connection terminal by making the external diameter of the through hole of a rotary holder smaller than the external diameter of an elastic tube through which an external conductor is run, and fixing the conductor to the holder at a press-in part by pressing in the tube. CONSTITUTION:The external conductor 6 which connects the connection terminal 4 of a magnetic head 1 to an external circuit is run through a heat-shrinkable tube 7 having elastic force, and the tip side is contracted thermally and inserted into the through hole 5c of the rotary holder 5. In this state, the external diameter K3 of the tip of the tube 7 is set between external diameters K1 and K2 of the holder 5. Therefore, the tube 7 is caught in the through hole when inserted, but the tip part is led out and then the tube 7 deforms and is pressed in the through hole 5c, so that the conductor 6 is fixed to the holder 5. Consequently, even when the head 1 rotates according to a tape traveling direction, the part above the fixation part of the conductor 6 moves together with the holder 5 in one body, so the break of wiring at the terminal 4 is prevented.
