PURPOSE:To provide a sensitization effect at which filter paper discolors to a slight gas concn. by impregnating deliquescent chemicals together with a color forming reagent to the filter paper. CONSTITUTION:The color forming reagent which forms a color by contact with the gas in the atm. air is impregnated together with the so-called deliquescent chemicals which are normally moist in the ordinary atm. state to the filter paper. The moisture having an important role for the color formation is therefore always retained by the filter paper and the filter paper reacts sensibly and forms the distinct color even with the slight amt. of the gas. |
