A curtain suspension comprises a runner 1 with one or more headed suspension arms 3, 4 extending parallel to the curtain rail 2 and an elongate suspender 5 passed through a curtain heading tape loop to be releasably and pivotally supported by the arm 3. The suspender 5 may be a flat strip (as shown) or a strip bent into U-shape (Fig. 2). The runners may be sliders or may comprise rollers such as shown at 15 in Fig. 7 which is further provided with a guide pin 20. In another embodiment, Fig. 8, the runner has a bearing portion 14 to detachably support the rollers which are introduced between resilient inner legs 13. In a modification (Fig. 9) the inner legs 13 are extended and are provided with suspension arms 3. Curtain folds may be retained by a flat, plastics holder (10, Figs. 4, 5) with apertures 21 through which flat strip suspenders 5 are passed prior to engagement with the suspension arms 3. |
