PURPOSE:To improve accuracy in cutting and solve problems such as noise, wear, breakage, etc. of mechanism portions of a cutting apparatus by making the speed commanding property of a control unit the fourth degree curve property. CONSTITUTION:High accuracy in cutting by a set length requires that the integration value of speed commanding Vs curve with respect to time t=0-t3 is equal to the circumferential length of shear edge and speed Vs is equal to speed Vl in time t=t2-t3. Thus, the Vs curve will do if it satisfies said two requirements, and here it is given as the composition of fourth degree curve a'-b'-c' and straight line c'-d'. The fourth degree curve is provided since it is simple to calculate and thus the accuracy in cutting is improved. |
