PURPOSE:To minimize stress relief accompanying temperature change by build ing in sealing plates cooled suddenly from the temperature higher than working temperature of a rotary actuator. CONSTITUTION:When sealing plates 31 are inserted and heated slowly to rise temperature, they are expanded thermally and compressed to the redius direc tion. In this time, sponge type elastic body 35 is compressed to the thickness direction to expand the plates. Then, the sealing plates are compressed only to the radius direction, and they are built in a rotary actuator. Then, stress relief accompanying temperature change can be reduced.
