PURPOSE:To obtain a stable electrostatic latent image without decreasing surface resistance by using a recording medium provided with a dielectric layer consisting of a resin for film forming having >=10<12>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity after film formation and pulverous powder having <10<10>OMEGA volume resistivity. CONSTITUTION:The film which is formed of the mixture composed of 100pts.wt. resin for film forming having >=10<12>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity after film formation and 0.1-300pts.wt. inorg. pulverous powder having <10<10>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity directly or via other dielectric layer on the conductive base material and has >=10<12>OMEGA surface resistance value over the entire part thereof is used as the recording medium in an electrostatic recording medium of a pressure transfer type for which the conductive base material of a rigid body provided with the dielectric layer on the surface is used as the recording medium. A dielectric drum 1 to be used as the recording medium provided with the dielectric layer 2 as a recording layer on the conductive base material 3 is not limited to the drum shape in the shape of the recording medium and may be a belt or flat plate shape. |
