The double gate has each gate constructed from a framework of tubes of rectangular cross-section. A tubular electric motor is fitted inside the uprights adjoining the hinges. The stator of each motor is connected to the upper hinge bracket. The output shaft drives a reduction gear which is connected by a slipping clutch to the tube. The electric cables supplying the motor are extended through the lower tubes to the electro-magnetic bolts fitted inside the inner uprights and which lock the gate either openor closed. |
