PURPOSE:To enable the number of parts required to be reduced and also enable a subject copy to be more effectively separated by configurating a device in such a manner that a separate roller and a feed roller are arranged on the same shaft employing a stepping motor combining its normal and reverse rotation with an one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION:Counterclockwise rotation of a stepping motor 19 which can be rotated either clockwise or counterclockwise, allows both a separate roller 9 and a feed roller 10 to rotate clockwise. This allows a subject copy on a subject copy table 4 to be transferred by the feed roller 10 permitting a transfer roller 11 to rotate counterclockwise as driven roller of the roller 10 by way of an one-way clutch 18. At this moment, a subject copy stop roller 5 continues rotating if just one subject copy is available, but is at rest if two subject copies are available. On the other hand, when the subject copy is transferred to a switch 8 allowing it to be turned on, the motor 19 is allowed to start rotating counterclockwise permitting the roller 11 to be a driving one. This allows the roller 9 and 10 rotate counterclockwise permitting the subject copy to pass through. Then, the roller 3 is stopped. This configuration enables the subject copy to be stably separated and also the number of parts required to be reduced.
