PURPOSE:To enable an auxiliary speed-change control to be performed even if one of the electromagnetic means gets out of order by equipping not less than three electromagnetic speed-change means for controlling the supply of oil pressure and combing 'ON' 'OFF' operations of these electromagnetic means. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid driving system consisting of three electromag netic means is judged to be in a fault condition, firstly, the input of the present car speed VSP' is operated in the steps S71, 72, and secondly, a judgement is made whether a car speed VSP1 corresponding to the present throttle opening read out from an up-shift map is smaller than said speed VSP'. As a result, if VSP'>VSP1, the other two solenold driving systems in normal condition are used for the purpose so that an auxiliary up-shit can be performed. |
