PURPOSE:To determine the polarity of a connected circuit automatically and to connect circuits easily and accurately by closing a DC loop when a circuit is connected, and reading and storing its polarity in a polarity initial state memory part. CONSTITUTION:A control part 5 closes the DC loop closing part 2 with an operator's indication after a circuit is connected to acquire another circuit and then a polarity detection part 3 reads, determines, and stores the polarity of the circuit in the polarity initials state memory part 4. A control part 5 compares the current polarity with the state stored in the polarity initial state memory part 4 every time automatic origination is performed to decide on the inversion of the polarity. Thus, connection conditions of the polarity are eliminated when the circuit is connected, the need to confirm the polarity is therefore eliminated when many circuits are connected, and an error in connection is eliminated.
