PURPOSE:To permit application of a uniform pressure to a product which is being set by providing fiber which is impregnated with plastics along a mold made of a low-melting point alloy which is solid at normal temperature but becomes a liquid at a thermosetting temperature of plastics. CONSTITUTION:A low-melting point alloy such as Bi-Sn is poured into a split cavity mold 2 for a center core which has a shape corresponding to the shape of a framing structure, and cooled to a room temperature and removed from the split cavity mold 2, and a center core 3 is produced. A carbon fiber 4 which is impregnated with a thermosetting plastic such as epoxy resin is wound around the center core 3 in thickness as required. Outer molds 5 and 6 are heated up to the setting temperature of plastics within an incorporating furnace. Since the center core 3 melts and expands, the plastics-impregnated fiber 4 receives a uniform internal pressure and is pressed against the internal surfaces of the outer molds 5 and 6. After setting of the plastics the outer molds 5 and 6 are removed, and a plug 7 is pulled and the melted alloy is delivered from the hole where the plug was removed. The product is, thus obtained. |
