PURPOSE:To obtain the quick fixing of picture on a base and to prevent ink rub-off even though scrubbed, by printing on the transparent recording material the surface of which can be dissolved or swelled with the hgih-boiling-point solvent in ink by teh impact method. CONSTITUTION:When a letter is printed on a transparent recording material by using the ink containing the high-boling-point solvent of not more than 1mmHg in vapor pressure at 20 deg.C as one constituent, at least the surface of a recording material is dissolved, or otherwise is at least swelled with the high-boiling-point solvent contained in the ink adhered to an ink ribbon. There by, the high-boiling-point solvent is absorbed or permeated onto the surface of recording material and the solid content ratio of the printed ink layer is increased to give a dry state. Therefore, even though the printed surface is scrubbed with fingers, cloth or others within several seconds after printing, the printing without ink rub-off can be carried out. Thereby, this method as it is can be applied to the printing method based on the impact system such as, for example, a typewriter, the printer for an electronic computer, etc. |
