PURPOSE:To eliminate the adverse influence on an image by frictional electrostatic charge and to permit long-period use by using a dielectric layer and pressing roller which are made of different materials but are in the same position in the frictional electrostatic charge series. CONSTITUTION:At least the surface of the dielectric layer 2 of a dielectric drum 1 which is a recording medium provided with the dielectric layer 2 as a recording layer on a conductive base material 3 is in substantially the same position in the frictional electrostatic charge series as the surface of the pressing roller 7 and the resin for film forming thereof is selected from the kind different from the film forming resin of the pressing roller surface. The adjustment of the frictional electrostatic charging capacity is executed by such a means for adding, for example, an electrostatic charge adjusting agent or selecting properly the combination of the materials for the pressing roller and the dielectric layer. |
