PURPOSE:To improve the holding force by the simple constitution by forming the profile consisting of a holding unit having an internal space for holding a transported article in the utilization of the elastic deformation due to slit, onto the whole periphery of the outer peripheral surface of a transport belt. CONSTITUTION:The internal space 4 a little smaller, e.g., by 0.2-3mm or so is formed in accordance with the size of a transported article, and the profile having the holding unit consisting of a slit 6 and a crack preventing part 7 which are formed onto the bottom surface of each internal space 4 is formed onto the whole surface of the outer periphery of a belt 1. With such constitution, the holding unit is opened on a pulley idler 3, permitting the insertion of the transported article, and then an opened port 5 is restored for holding, after passing through the pulley 3. Thus, the constitution i simplified, and certain holding is permitted. |
