Compounds of general formula (I) <CHEM> wherein: R is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl; R1 is a C1-C3 alkoxy group and, when R is ethyl, R1 may also be hydrogen or hydroxy; R2 and R3, which may be the same or different, represent hydroxy groups both of alpha and beta configuration, or keto groups. Compounds I are useful in therapy.
