PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a boot due to the dead weight by constituting the boot from a sleeve integrally formed with a base and an opened edge part supported by the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 5 having a flexible wave-shaped uneveness part 6 is formed integrally with a base 1. A shift lever 4 is installed so as to penetrate through the base 1, and a boot 2 is installed in conical form so as to surround the lever 4. The edge part 3 of the upper edge port of the boot 2 is retained at the upper edge 5a of the sleeve 5, and the peripheral edge part 2a at the lower edge of the boot 2 is installed onto the flange 1a of the base 1, and certainly fixed at proper positions by clips 7. Since the boot 2 is retained by the sleeve 5, the boot is not deformed by the dead weight even in the use for a long period. |
