<p>The drive device for the band wheel (8) of a band-type gripper weaving machine consists of a shaft (2) which can be driven in rotation and on which an eccentrically arranged driving point (3) is provided, of an oscillating member (6) which is movable in oscillation about an axis of oscillation (5) and which is in engagement with a gearwheel (7) connected coaxially to the band wheel (8), and of a transmission member (4) connecting the driving point (3) to the oscillating member (6) and mounted on the axis of oscillation (5). The eccentricity of the driving point (3) and/or its distance from the axis of oscillation (5) is adjustable. As a result, the amplitude of the oscillating movement of the oscillating member (6) and therefore the stroke of a gripper head (10) driven by the band wheel (8) can be varied, and the drive device can be adapted to changing machine and fabric widths by means of only a few manipulations. <IMAGE></p> |
