PURPOSE:To attain the effective use of the resource and to improve the performance with a processor by judging a shift originator start entry of a shift instruction and controlling the checking method of register groups. CONSTITUTION:An instruction words includes an instruction code together with designation of a result register, an operand register 1 and an operand register 2. A designated field for result/operand 1/2 register is used for an addition instruction, etc. With a shift instruction, the shift originator register group is designated for the register 2. Then the start entry of the shift originator register group is designated for a designated field for the register 1. When an instruction code is equal to a shift instruction, the designated field of the register 1 is checked. Then the write busy flag is not checked for the register group designated in the designated field of the register 2 in case the shift originator start entry of the shift originator register group is equal to '0'.
