PURPOSE:To improve the toner wiping action and to simplify the structure by turning a cam through a clutch by the operation of a weight and approximating a cleaning unit to a photosensitive body by this cam to approximate a cleaning roll to the photosensitive body and separating the cleaning roll from the photosensitive body when the cleaning unit is not used. CONSTITUTION:The clockwise motion of a supporting plate 25 is stopped by a roll arm 30 and a guide roll 29 to keep a cleaning roll 26 separated from a photosensitive drum 9. This state is set when the cleaning unit is not used. In case of printing, a motor is driven to rotate the photosensitive drum 9 clockwise by a gear 38, and a magnet roll 12 is rotated. A crack 51 bends a spring 52 and is slid by rotation of a gear 49, and a cam 35 is turned counterclockwise at about 180 deg. together with a gear 50 and presses the roll arm 30 with its high part. The supporting plate 25 is turned clockwise around a supporting shaft 33 by the force of a flat spring 34 according as the roll arm 30 is turned counterclockwise against the force of a spring 32, and the cleaning roll 26 is brought into contact with the photosensitive drum 9 elastically. |
