摘要 |
PURPOSE:To increase reaction ability of active material by containing a specified amount of lead and bismuth in a negative active material. CONSTITUTION:In a negative active material iof a battery whose negative reactionis conducted between divalence and trivalence of chromium or trivalence and tetravalence of titanium, lead and bismuth are contained in the negative active material in a ratio of 0.1kg/m<3> or more each. Whenthe amount of lead and bismuth are less than 0.1kg/m<3> each, energy efficiencyis decreased. When the amounts excees the specified value, precipitations are produced and pressure lossis increased. The weighty ratio of lead to bismuth is preferable to limit 2 or more. Use of pitch family carbon felt is perferablyas a negative electrode supporter because its liquid penetration pressure loss is small. thereby, efficiency in battery reaction is increased and electric power required to supply active material is remarkably reduced. |
