PURPOSE:To fit easily an ink sheet roll to a main body by installing a recording means and the ink sheet roll at the cover side provided in such a manner capable of opening/closing to the device main body. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a recording paper 4 which is stored in a recording paper holder 23 and wound in a roll shape, and an ink sheet 1 in an ink sheet cassette 12 is sandwiched to a platen roller 4 and a thermal head 3. The thermal head 3 is fixed to a head holder 16. At an upper base 13, an original stand cover 17 is fitted, and the base 13 is fitted at a main body frame 40 rotatably with a supporting point 19 as a center.
