PURPOSE:The titled novel material useful for metal coating, providing a film of coating having extremely improved adhensivity to the surface of metal, obtained by copolymerizing a specific phosphoric ester monomer with a copolymerizable monomer in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) 0.1-10 wt.% monomer selected from phos phoric ester monomers shown by the formula I and formula II [R1-R3 are group shown by the formula III (R4 is H, or methyl; R5 is 2-4C alkylene; n is 0-3 integer)] and (B) 99,9-90 wt.% another copolymerizable monomer is copolymerized preferably by solution polymerozation method, to give the aimed material. A mixture of the monomers shown by the formula I/formula II in a molar ratio of 0-60/100-40 is preferable as the component A. Preferably 5-40 wt.% OH-containing monomer such as methyl acrylate, etc., is used in the component B. |
