摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of sintered ore without the decrease in the air permeability of a sintering raw material of Mn ore powder during sintering by using the Mn ore having a specific grain size distribution in the stag of producing the sintered ore for a blast furnace contg. the Mn ore. CONSTITUTION:The powder Mn ore is mixed with the sintering raw material and the Mn-contg. sintered ore is produced in the stage of producing the sintered ore for the blast furnace. The powder Mn ore ore contg. >=40wt.% the Mn ore having <=1mm grain size is used as the Mn ore to be used in this case. The Mn ore migrates to the middle and upper layers of the sintering raw mate rial on a pallet of a sintering machine and is thoroughly mixed with CaO in the sintering raw material, by which the overmelting of th Mn ore in the lower layer part of the sintering raw material is obviated and therefore the decrease in the air permeability of the sintering raw material by the overmelting of the Mn ore is obviated. The sintering effect of the sintering raw material is thus improved and the productivity of the Mn ore-contg. sintered ore is im proved.
