PURPOSE:To improve the strength, rust resistance and toughness by adding prescribed percentages of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, N, Al, S and Mo. CONSTITUTION:The titled steel consists of <=0.2% C, 0.05-2.5% Si, 16-35% Mn, 10-20% Cr, 0.1-8% Ni, 0.1-0.5% N, 0.0001-0.2% Al, <=0.003% S and the balance Fe or further contains 0.05-4% Mo. The steel has superior strength and toughness at very low temp. besides rust resistance.
