Deactivating selector for bolt action rifle

A blocking lever (51) for the trigger and sear prevents release movement. A rotatable selector (26) is positioned in a receiver (12) for rotating on a vertical axis about which the selector turns. The selector has a hand-engageable position and an actuator for the trigger and sear blocking lever. This deactivates the blocking lever when the selector is moved to another position. - A blocking plunger is placed for movement into the notch in the cocking piece to lock the bolt handle as the selector is moved to the second position carrying the hand-engageable projection into the notch.
