PURPOSE:To prevent a system from the deterioration in performance or the increase of rerising time and to discriminate a false data record properly by recording the discriminating information of the false data record in a record discriminator. CONSTITUTION:If a data processor 2 is failed during the writing operation of data in a specified record of a magnetic disk device 6, an abnormality detecting part 42 detects the fault from the state of an interface signal line and informs the detected result to a control processor part 45. The control processor part 45 executes '0' padding processing of a writing/reading part 43, completes the recording writing operation and then executes the processing of the false data (0 padding) record. After completing said processing, a magnetic disk control device 4 is held at the command waiting state to rerise the data processor 2. After the rerising, the control device 4 reads out the false data record and informs the completion of fault processing to the processor 2.
