Additive comprises an alloy of a liq. phase solvent (I) and a gas phase solute (II) in a wt. ratio of (10 power-6)% to 99%. (I) is Si, Ge, SiGe alloys, alloys of SiGe and elements of gps. 1A, 2A, 3A, 3B, 4A, 6A, 7A and 8, or 3A5A and 2B6A cpds.; (II) is Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn, Cd, P, As, Sb, Bi, Se, Te, Br or I or oxides or salts of these.
