PURPOSE:To measure accurately the recording state of a data recorded on the magnetic strip of the magnetic card by measuring the time interval at each crest value of data and comparing it with a reference value width. CONSTITUTION:Time interval data T1, T2, T3... stored in an RAM30 are read, they are added, and the result is subject to averaging to obtain the 1st reference width Ts1{=(1+ or -alpha)Tmean}. The bit interval data TM is read sequentially from the RAM30 to discriminate whether logic is ''1'' or ''0''. When the logic is discriminated as ''0'', the bit interval data TN is compared with the 1st reference width Ts1 (e.g., 0.12+ or -5mum or equivalent), and when the data is discriminated to be within the 1st reference value width Ts1, the result of discrimination (''OK'') is stored in the 3rd area of the RAM30. |
