Item-separation method from parallel tracks - uses guides as items are moved forward simultaneously before loading into boxes or cassettes

The method separates products (1,2,3) delivered along parallel tracks, those in some of the tracks (4,5,6) being partly enclosed between those of adjacent ones (4-5, 5-6). The products can be vibrated so they can move easier. - Guides (7,8,9,19,20) are used to separate the items in different tracks as they are moved forward simultaneously. They can be thrust apart at their outer ends at right angles to the track surfaces (7,8,9). Supplementary guides (16,17,18) are also provided on the tracks.
