PURPOSE:To descend a cassette half with small pressing force and to prevent the cassette half from deformation due to the pressing force by exciting a lifter in its opening direction by an elastic body. CONSTITUTION:A cam part 36 is unitedly formed on one end of a cassette pressing plate 35 pivotally supported by a back plate 2 of a base board 1. A pressing chip 35a is fitted to the cassette pressing plate 35 and provided with a spring property. A spring 37 excites the plate 35 in one direction. When a carriage 21 is moved backward (in the Y' direction), a pin 24 planted on the carriage 21 is engaged with the cam part 36 of the plate 35 to rotate the plate 35 in the arrow R direction against the exciting force of the spring 37.
