CONTROL CIRCUIT OF PULSE WIDTH

PURPOSE:To obtain pulses having equal center positions despite the change of the pulse width by producing the pulses after comparing the output of an up-down counter for conduction time with the set value. CONSTITUTION:An up-down counter 8 delivers outputs in the count value ranges 31-0 and 0-31. These outputs are supplied to comparators 101-10n and compared with outputs 51-5n of a memory for control quantity of light emitting time. Thus the pulses centering on 0 of the output of the counter 8 are obtained with the outputs of comparators 101-10n. Therefore the center positions are equal among those pulses on output lines 111-11n. Then LED 171-17n have the same center positions of light emission. Thus the center positions are equal among the print picture elements of those LEDs. This attains the high print quality.
