<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate construction work, by arranging a rectifier being connected to a transformer to convert AC power outputted into DC and a connector serving to input the DC power outputted from the rectifier to a breaker to be tested through a switch. CONSTITUTION:This tester has a transformer 3. AC power of a specified voltage is inputted to the rectifier 4 from the transformer 3. DC power of a specified voltage is outputted with the rectifier 4 and connected to breaker control circuit connection connectors 9a-9h through a breaker closing test switch 5, a breaker tripping test switch 6 and the like. Then, the closing the tripping tests for a breaker 10 to be tested are done by the operation of the breaker closing test switch 5 and the breaker tripping test switch 6. This eliminates the drawing about of the conventional DC power source, requiring none of cables and wiring material extending several thousand meters previously installed in a power plant. Hence, there is no need for associated wiring work thereby facilitating the construction of a power plant.</p> |
