PURPOSE:To relieve a degree of impact force to be imposed on a safety belt in time of sudden stoppage, by installing a shock absorber in the safety belt. CONSTITUTION:A bulged part, to be bulged to an inner part 6 of a band box 1, is formed in each of side parts 2 and 3 of the band box 1, looking from the longitudinal direction of a band 4. And, one side of these side parts 2 and 3 of the band box 1 is extended in the longitudinal direction, installing projecting piece 7 to which a band 8 is connected. At the opposite side of this projection piece 7, a window 10 is installed in a vertical part in the longitudinal direction of the band box, and a member 11 is projected out of this window 10 whereby the band is connected to this member. In time of a collision, a titled part of the member 11 hits to the bulged part, deforming this bulged part to some extent, whereby the impact force is absorbed. |
