PURPOSE:To obtain a sound with feeling of spread by eliminating a sound signal from a signal of a channel on which no listening of a sound multiplex signal is desired and adding it to a desired channel. CONSTITUTION:A main sound and a sub-sound are demodulated respectively by a main sound demodulator 1 and a sub-sound demodulator 2 from an inputted sound multiplex signal. Switches SW1, SW2 are interlocked and either the main sound or the sub-sound is selected. Suppose that the switch SW2 is thrown on the position of B' and the main sound is selected. Since the switch SW1 is thrown to the position of B, the sound is eliminated by a filter 3 from the sub sound not selected in this case. The filter 3 is a band eliminating filter or a simple high pass filter, which attenuates a signal of a frequency of about several hundreds Hz. Then the signal from which the sound is eliminated is added to the main sound at an adder circuit.
