PURPOSE:To apply a load to four points of a test piece even under a superhigh temperature, by applying an alternating load near length-wise both ends of the test piece with the first load mechanism and the one to two intermediate points thereof with the second load mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a load body 5 is pulled downward to operate, a test piece 4 is dragged downward and a retaining rod 26 is dragged downward with a pair of rollers 20 supporting the test piece 4. With the reduction of a coil spring 30, a pressing force acts on an overhung 22 to move a load body 17 downward. As a result, a specified alternating load is applied evenly to two intermediate points of the test piece 4. Then, when a double swing bend test jig having the test piece 4 is arranged in a heating furnace 38, a specified alternating load can be applied to four points of the test piece 4 with first and second load mechanism. Thus, the jig thus obtained can withstand sufficiently long service when a test is done under a superhigh temperature. |
