PURPOSE:To perform the generation and alteration of a threshold table efficiently and quickly, by enabling altering and setting of thresholds in an area for which those are set for each pixel of a digital image by an manual inputting means. CONSTITUTION:A manual inputting means 11 containing, for example, a display 11a and a keyboard 11b is connected to a bus 3 through an interface 10. For example, a threshold table MP2 (herein called as M table) is established corresponding to a pixel P2 to be stored into a ROM5. In the generation and alteration of the threshold table, data constituting the M table is accessed from the ROM5 to be shown on the display 11a. Thus, by the operation of the keyboard 11b, data pertaining to the threshold table M can be set and altered as desired. |
