PURPOSE:To ensure the proper locking of a car seat by providing a locking member at the rail side and forming a plurality of stopper notches on the locking member for gearing with the upper edge of a movable bracket in upward motion. CONSTITUTION:A locking member 29 having an inverted L-shape cross section is fitted to the outside fixed rail 11 having an approximately C-shape cross section which is supported by a side sill at the end of a floor 1. The locking member 29 is so provided as to be stretchable to front and rear directions in proximity to the upper edge of the front and rear parts of a bracket 17. The lower edge of the said locking member 29 is provided with a plurality of rectangular stopper notches 30 at equal intervals. These stopper notches 30 are geared with the upper edge 17a of the bracket 17 in upward motion, thereby preventing the relative motion of a movable bracket 16 in front and rear directions with a car body. |
