PURPOSE:To house a temperature detecting probe compact, by connecting a connection cord direct to a thermometer body made to serve as cord reel to integrate a holder section of the temperature detecting probe on the leader end side of a case. CONSTITUTION:A woman's clinical thermometer is made up of an upper case 1 and a lower case 2 composing a flat box shaped case, a thermometer body 3 retained therebetween, a connection cord 4 wound on the circumference of the body 3 and a temperature detecting probe 5 mounted at the tip of the connection cord as bent in L. The base section of the cord 4 is pulled out from the circumference of the body 3 as directly fixed to the inside of the body 3 and connected direct to the internal circuit of the body 3 using solder or the like. A probe holder section 9 housing a probe 5 is projected integral on the side of the upper and lower cases and a retaining projection 10a is provided integral at the tip of a U-shaped retainer section 10. Thus, the temperature detecting probe can be housed securely thereby enabling the miniaturization of the case. |
