发明名称 METHOD FOR LEADING-IN OF OPTICAL FIBER CABLE OF COMPOSITE OVERHEAD EARTH WIRE CONSISTING OF OPTICAL FIBER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To permit easy leading-in and replacement of an optical fiber cable by leading in the cable while oscillating the cable at a suitable frequency and acceleration. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber cable 3 is led into a composite overhead earth wire 4 consisting of optical fibers by the traction of a take-off unit 9 from a drum 8 on which the optical fiber cable is wound. The cable 3 is oscillated at the suitable frequency and acceleration by an exciter 7 during the leading-in. The cable 3 oscillates in a protective pipe 2 of the wire 4 and is led into said wire under the relatively light traction force by the take-off unit 9 while moving zigzag. The replacement of the cable is thus executed. More specifically, the contact of the cable with the protective pipe is decreased by the oscillation applied to the cable from the exciter by which the frictional force during the movement in the protective pipe is decreased. Since the cable moves zigzag in the protective pipe owing to the change of the acceleration, the corrosive metallic powder and dust are carried to the outside of the pipe. The driving power of the take-off unit in the drawing operation is thus decreased and the leading-in is speeded up.</p>
