PURPOSE:To prevent occupied switchboard even at the occurrence of a talking fault by dividing a channel of exchange accommodating a switchboard into two groups and connecting the switchboard and the channel via separate operator position trunks. CONSTITUTION:The switchboard 2 is provided with an operator head set 1 and a switch 3, the channels accommodated with the switchboard are divided into channels 9, 10, which are connected to the board 2 via operator position trunks OPTs 7, 8. When an exchange 13 without a switchboard is connected to the switch 3 via the channel 10 and the OPT7, if the channel 10 from the OPT7 is faulty, a central controller 6 of the switchboard discriminates the fault via the channel 10 and a channel controller 11 and an OPT switching order is transmitted to the switchboard 2 via an switchboard input/output controller 4 through a common bus 5. The board 2 drives the device 3 according to the switching order, leads the OPT8 in standby to the board 2 as the active trunk and connects the channel 9 to an exchange 13 as an active channel according to the control of the device 11. |
